Berardelli's Bulletin

I am Paul J. Berardelli, Principal of Delsea Regional High School, a title that I am humbled by,and honored to be called. I have been  a member of the "Delsea Family" since 1994 when I began my career as a Special Education Teacher. Over the next 5 years, I taught many different subjects, coached track and football, as well as pursued an advanced degree and certification in School Leadership. All of these invaluable experiences gave me a solid platform on which to build my career as a school administrator. In 1999, I was hired as Vice-Principal, a role that I served proudly for thirteen years while growing in my educational leadership abilities. This year, 2016, marks my sixth year as Principal, and I could not be more proud!

Here at Delsea, we  strive to excel! My staff and I will continue to provide a comprehensive and thorough education in a climate that is conducive to ALL students; a place where every student feels safe and has a sense of belonging. We have the highest expectations for our students perpetual growth academically, socially and their emotional well-being; our students' needs are at the fore-front of every decision that we make.

Our mission is to educate, inspire and empower our students and staff to excellence. We strive to be the pride of the community and the best in the nation. GO BIG RED!

2015-2016 End of the School Year Festivities
The end of the 2015-2016 school year is filled with incredible events that demonstrate the Delsea spirit of pride and tradition! The seniors began celebrating a little early with Senior Sunday Baccalaureate Breakfast with guest speakers giving wonderful words of wisdom to the graduating class. Our NHS advisers, Cathy Hertens and Candice Davis, along with many others, ensure that this special event leaves everyone with a great sense of Delsea tradition.

The Renaissance Club and their advisers, Tim Keck and Heidi Salerno, hold their annual BBQ for over 600 students celebrating academic achievement, great attendance and model behavior. The students and staff enjoy great food and fun games; what a blast!

Our Delsea seniors participated in their first-ever Senior Walk. Strolling through the halls of their elementary schools, seniors were greeted by the elementary students and staff. It was truly a magical moment! Check it out:

On the morning of graduation, the Class of 2016, along with their class advisers, Kim Kelly and Patty Gaetano, gathered to watch the many memories made together during their four years as Delsea students. Enjoy!

With pomp and circumstance, our senior class took their place on the beautifully decorated field, turning their tassels to signify the mark of new and exciting opportunities as they begin their new journey as graduates.

Many thanks to Dr Jessica ippolito!

Project Graduation hosts a safe, fun-filled over-night event for our seniors. This is the last event that our seniors participated in as Delsea students. What a great event! Thanks to Elizabeth Solowey and her committee who raise funds all year for this event!

These spectacular events at the end of the school year exhibit the love and dedication we have for our students. So many staff members, parents, community members and administrators gladly participated in these events to create long-lasting memories for our students.
Delsea Pride!!!
Have a safe and enjoyable summer.

The Importance of the Parent-Teacher-Student Connection
Your child’s teacher is the lifeline to your child’s learning throughout the day. Parents should see their child’s teacher as a partner in one of the most influential experiences of growing up – school. Please reach out to your child's teacher throughout the year. Treat the teacher-parent-child relationship the way you would any really important one in your life. Create a problem-solving partnership that will be a win-win for all.
